Road Trip!

Today's regularly scheduled post has been preempted by a mini road trip I'm taking with my daughter this week. We may or may not pick up a bunch of Muppets along the way.

I'll see you all in two weeks!

  2. Safe travels! If you pick up Gonzo, prepare for weirdness.

    1. Apparently, all I needed for weirdness was my 17yo daughter.

  4. I'd never seen "'80s Robot" before. I actually had to look him up. He reminds me too much of "Johnny 5" from Short Circuit.

    1. I hadn't, either. He seemed to just pop up out of the blue.

  5. Hey Lynda,

I bet you, your daughter and any Muppets will have loads of fun. Watch out for the cookie monster!

  7. I know you already said above that it's over and you had fun, but just let me continue to imagine you and all of your passengers singing MAHNAMAHNA the whole way there while bobbing your heads in unison.

    1. We definitely have a road trip playlist. And I LOVE Mahnamahna! Fun fact: my oldest son shared Cake's version with me by adding it to my iTunes (along with a bunch of other things he thought I'd think were "funny," like ICP and Snoop Dogg, but that's another story). You haven't lived until you've heard Cake at their ultra-bounciest. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agj1WpGLxoo

I love comments, and will always answer them, partly because I like having the last word and partly because I just like getting to know the people who read my blog. (Note: if the post is more than a couple weeks old, your comment will automatically go into the "needs approval" folder, but I will still publish it and reply!)
